Customer Account Management
The Customer Account Management area of your Store Manager allows you to perform quick and advanced searches within your customer database. This is particularly useful for retrieving contact information for your customers if you are unable to contact them by email.
This area may also be used as an extended marketing tool, allowing you to target a newsletter to a specific type of customer. The following examples all apply to the functionality available within the Customer Account Management area of your Store Manager...
Display Customers With Between X and Y Loyalty Points
If you wish to target customers who have spent a particularly high amount on your store and who have gained a sizeable number of Loyalty Points, then you could search for customers with between 250 and 9999 points.
You are then able to export the email addresses of these particular customers and send an email which may encourage them to either use their Loyalty Points, or to offer them a discount code off their next order.
Display Customers Who's Total Spend Is Between X and Y
As with the above example, this area could be used to select customers who have a particularly high spend on your store. It could also be used to find customers who have not yet spent very much and who could therefore use an incentive of a discount code from their next order. This way, you're targetting customers with a low spend and encouraging them to spend more with your store.
Display Customers With An Account Status of (Basic, Silver, Gold or Platinum)
Similarly, if you wish to target a specific demographic based on their account type, then this is an ideal tool. An example would be to send out one newsletter to all Basic customers informing them of your VIP Account programme (if you choose to operate one) and encourage them to bring their spend level up to the minimum amount to qualify for the automatic discounts applicable to a particular VIP Account tier.
It is our belief that, as each customer is an individual, they should be considered in an individual manner. While this isn't always possible due to the vast amount of customers on any particular store, the Customer Account Management area allows you to move one step closer to this.
