Automatic Upgrades
The Ingenii Ecommerce Solution is entirely modular, allowing us to produce brand new features and bring these to our clients without the need for extensive rewrites and/or complicated integrations. We believe that your store should always be kept up to date with the latest technological advances and, by making our software modular, we have ensured that most enhancements can be performed automatically by you, the store owner, at your own convenience.

As an example, if we release an enhancement to the way that customer orders are tracked, your Store Manager area would automatically include this new enhancement as an upgrade option for your store. You would then have the opportunity to upgrade your store to include this new feature immediately by clicking on the "Upgrade" button alongside this particular new feature. Your store would then contact our development server and request the file which would then be installed on your store automatically.

The beauty of doing things this way is that we don't have to spend our valuable time updating your store for you, which means we can concentrate our time on developing brand new features as well as enhancing existing functionality. Rest assured, however, that if any module does NOT allow for automatic upgrades (due to the complexity of the upgrade) we will always be on hand to perform this upgrade for you.

The automatic upgrades do not just apply to existing features however. Whenever a brand new feature is released for the Ingenii software, you will be notified immediately through the "Upgrade Modules" area of your Store Manager. You will not only have the ability to read an overview of the functionality but, if the module is being provided to the Ingenii community free of charge, you will be able to install this new module automatically. In the case of modules which require an additional purchase, such as a major new SEO feature, you will be able to purchase the module through your Store Manager and be given immediate access to install this on your store automatically.
